Unlimited possibilities with a Top Level Domain (TLD)
Evolution on the Internet
With the Top Level Domains (TLDs), UnifiedRoot
creates a more logical access to information on websites. Companies and individuals can
create direct access to the part of the website the visitor wants to see; the user can find
the information easier and faster. Companies which are ready to make the next step on the
Internet, can now register their own Top Level Domain online.
UnifiedRoot offers companies and individuals
worldwide the possibility to register their own domain names. This is an evolution on the
Internet. Domain names no longer have to end with the well-known Top Level Domains (TLD's), like .com,
.fr, .org or .net. Companies can immediately create a web address that takes the visitor directly to
the requested information within the website. The current webpages and/or setup of the website
do not have to be changed for this. Current investments are therefore protected.
An example.
Do you want to know where to park at Schiphol Airport? You will finally get to this
information by navigating through the website www.schiphol.nl,
go to airportinformation etc.
Under UnifiedRoot, instead of www.schiphol.com, you enter: 'parking.schiphol'.
It will take you directly tot the page with the requested information. The holder of the TLD
'schiphol' can create as many (sub)domainnames as required. Some examples are:
arrival.schiphol, klm.schiphol, airlines.schiphol,
shopping.schiphol. These addresses direct straight to the corresponding pages
on the existing website and can easily be maintained by the site administrator.
Another example.
The holder of the TLD auctions, can offer (sell) auctionhouses like Sothebys, Christies or
Glerum their own webbaddress. Entering sothebys.auctions wil take the visitor directly to
the homepage of Sothebys.
Through “search” on the TLDhomepage you can immediately find out if your required TLD
is available. If the TLD is available, you can register it online. Note that trademarks should only
be registered by the owner of the trademark.
On the TLDhomepage you can see if you are connected to the new Internet. To be able to access
all the new webaddresses, your computer can be adapted using the free UnifyMe Now software. This
tool has been developed in close co-operation with Wild Open Source in the USA. UnifiedRoot is
the only company to offer this free software. To download the software click on the UnifyMe Now
button on the homepage. Installing this software, will not change your
current internet access. You will find a manual with all the background information on our website.
If your provider already supports this new internet, than you already have access to the new internet
addresses like “parking.schiphol”.
The registration of a TLD will cost you a one-time registration fee of € 750,-. Every year
you pay € 250,-. The costs for your TLD for the first year are therefore € 1.000,-. For
three years: € 1500,-. You can choose to renew your TLD each year for € 250,- or you can
choose to register your TLD for 2, 5 or 10 years. (All rates are exclusive VAT)
