UnifiedRoot (http://www.unifiedroot.com) is an independent company located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. They enable the global registration of Top Level Domainnames (TLDs).

Domainnames do not have to end on .com, .de or .net anymore. Try your own company name (.unifiedroot), a trademark (.insurance) or a general word (.interest).

UnifiedRoot targets an open and free Internet, without any boundaries in domainnames. UnifiedRoot offers a simpel, direct, consistent and easily understandable Internet addressing scheme. This makes it easy for governments, companies, ISPs and individual web users to share and find their information on the Internet.

The company has two operating divisions; one operating the root system of Unified Root and the additional domain name systems (DNS); the other division is responsible for the marketing and promotion of Top Level Domains.

Additionally, the company has established a foundation dedicated to funding the development and implementation of new Internet-related technologies and otherwise expanding the use of, and access to, the Internet worldwide.
