About UnifiedRoot
UnifiedRoot (Unified Root) is an independent, privately held technology
company based in Amsterdam that makes Top Level Domains (TLDs) available
globally.
UnifiedRoot has built a robust root server (IPv6 and IDN ready) platform
that operates in parallel with and inclusive of ICANN (Internet Corporation
for Assigned Names and Numbers). In our efforts to avoid collision and
conflicts, and to ensure the security and stability of the Internet,
UnifiedRoot will not allow a party to register a TLD that already exists at
ICANN.
Our goal at UnifiedRoot is to be instrumental in stimulating growth and
advancement of the Internet. We provide an environment where companies with
innovative projects and ideas can leverage a TLD to add value to a
particular community of interest, or to create new applications.
UnifiedRoot is reaching out to companies throughout the world who are
developing killer applications and services to put them in a stronger
position to market, distribute, or promote their applications by using their
own TLD. Please contact us at contact@unifiedroot.com
To resolve the UnifiedRoot network, ISP's and system administrators of
company networks need only to make adjustments to their DNS servers. WIFI
networks can also point to our DNS servers. Any individual home computer can
easily be configured to resolve the UnifiedRoot network by simply
downloading our "UnifyMe" Tool.
UnifiedRoot (Unified Root) provides a simple, direct, consistent and
comprehensive Internet addressing system, enabling governments, businesses,
ISPs, and individual "www-users" to provide easier, user-friendly access to
their information on the Internet.
UnifiedRoot offers the TLD holder a white label reseller tool. The TLD
holder can resell (SLD) and exploit its own TLD.
The company has two operating divisions one operating the UnifiedRoot
(Unified Root) domain name system (DNS), and the other responsible for the
marketing and promotion of Top Level Domains. The name of the company is
spelled UnifiedRoot, although sometimes wrongly mentioned as Unified Root.
